FOR USE IN IMMERSION OR CONTINUOUS SPRAY APPLICATIONS

Rust Medic™ Ultra-Concentrate Rust Remover is designed to effectively remove rust from steels, cast irons, and brighten Copper and Copper alloys. It is perfect for de-rusting fuel tanks and also safe to use on most plastics, rubbers and paints. NOTE: Rust Medic™ will remove some zinc from galvanized metals with extended soaking and is NOT compatible with Magnesium.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

1. Wash and remove loose debris and oil/grease from parts prior to rust removal.
2. Immerse rusted parts in ready to use (mixed) Rust Remover solution. (1ltr/15ltrs of water)
3. Soak parts for 15mins up to overnight depending on degree of rust. Check parts frequently.
4. Remove parts when rust has been removed, rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly.
5. Rust Medic™ can be reused until it turns dark black and stops working. Dispose of spent fluid as per local authority guidelines.

MIXING INSTRUCTIONS:

MUST ADD WATER TO ACTIVATE

• Use 1 Litre of concentrate to mix 16ltrs of ready to use product. – 1:15 ratio
• Rust Medic™ can be used in any volume at this ratio. (500mls will make 8ltrs)
• Add Rust Medic™ Ultra-Concentrate to container, add 15 Litres of water and stir.
• For best results, use at a temperature between 18°C and 70°C

PLEASE NOTE:

• Temperatures below 18°C will significantly reduce the effectiveness and rate of rust removal.
• High carbon steel and tool alloy steel items will have a darker appearance when de-rusted. Rinsing the dark film from parts while still wet will significantly reduce the darker appearance once dried.
